Nepuechi FC is a grassroots soccer side based in
THE BASIC THINGS A SCOUT SHOULD LOOK FOR WHILE SCOUTING FOR A PLAYER.
Pace: players with good pace can make the difference in the field of play and can be dangerous when counter-attack.
Movement and Positioning: A good player should make a “run” when he passed the ball to his team mate and take a good position waiting to receive ball back from his teammates. What position does he take when the ball is not with him?”
Sensitivity: A good player must have four eyes, able to see the entire field. He must put his head up to see every thing in field of play both forward and backward.
Skill: A player with great skill is an asset but over dribbling is not good especially when his teammate has taken good position to receive pass, time wasted in the dribbling can cause the opponent to checkmate his teammate who has taken a position or he can loose the ball while dribbling.
Common sense: Means knowing what to do at the right time. Knowing when to push attack or not. Some players when their team is pushing attack, they kill the zeal of the game by pushing the ball backwards.
Temperament: Some players are temperamental and can not control their emotions and anger, often can abuse the referee, the coach, and co – players and even sometimes lead to physical combat.
We, Nepuechi FC train our players to meet up the standard mentioned above, our contact is;
